Ch 3 questions

  1. How does Rosa Coldfield appear in Jason Compson’s narrative?  How does Chapter 3 force us to reconsider RCs perspective from Ch 1?
  2. What are some of Jason’s distinctive features as a narrator?  What aspects of the story does he de/emphasize?  What is his style as a storyteller?
  3. How does Bon appear in Compson’s narrative?  How does Compson know what he knows about Bon?
  4. The chapter ends with a very complex set of speculations by JC about who knew what: JC knows that Judith knew that Henry and Bon were alive and fighting together in the War.  Who else knows what in JCs provisional narrative on 68-9?
